TO THE PUBLIC
We are working in conjunction with all of the organisations on this page to provide employment workshops for 48 weeks in 2005. These workshops will be presented by local businesses in Frome and west Wiltshire. Every Tuesday, from 11th January 2005, a different business will demonstrate exactly what they do for a living and how they do it. They will not only demonstrate their business but explain how they got into it and the steps they took to make it happen. These business people will be available for questions afterwards and may even be in a position to offer employment themselves.
If any person attending the workshops, is interested in the job they have seen demonstrated and would like to find out more about pursuing it as a career, they will be able, after the workshop, to talk to a careers adviser or training officer who should be able to point them in the right direction with regard to courses and training. Every organisation concerned is committed to providing training for as many students as possible.
The workshops are open to anybody and everybody who would like to find a job or wants to retrain in a new one. To attend any workshop simply turn up at the adult learning and leisure building of Frome College on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Each course will finish at 9pm.
